Indian statement necklace

While my friend was in India in December, she bought me a souvenir--this necklace. However when she gave it to me, she laughed and said it was ugly. I told her I thought it was pretty, then she laughed at me when I said I'd do an outfit post with it. Turns out when I paired the necklace with the all-black outfit, it worked extremely well.
